The equipment matters just as much as response time for Water Extraction — volume and suction determine how much moisture stays trapped versus how much comes out.
Our Ookala, HI Water Extraction crews run truck-mount units capable of pulling far more volume than portable equipment.
Truck-mount extraction is standard equipment on every Ookala, HI call, not an upgrade.
We identify the contamination category before extraction to determine the correct safety protocol.
We use specialty injection systems designed to dry hardwood from underneath rather than defaulting to tear-out.
Our Ookala, HI extraction reports give your insurer verifiable data, not a vague summary.
Getting water out is only useful if it's done with the right classification and the right tools — here's our Ookala process.
High-volume truck-mount units handle standing water across large areas fast.
We determine contamination level first, since blackwater requires PPE and disposal steps clean water doesn't.
Weighted extraction tools pull water trapped deep in carpet fiber that a surface pass would miss.
This specialty method can save original hardwood that would otherwise require full tear-out.
Subfloor moisture often hides beneath flooring that looks dry on the surface.
You receive documented proof of extraction completion for your own records or an insurance claim.
We ask enough questions to send the right-sized extraction unit on the first trip.
Our nearest Ookala, HI crew arrives with extraction equipment matched to your reported loss.
You'll know the classification and cost before work starts.
We don't sign off until logged readings hit the target, not just until it looks dry.
"They saved our hardwood floor with an injection drying method instead of ripping it all out. Saved us thousands." — Owen R.
"The moisture readings they gave us before and after made the whole process feel legitimate, not just a guess." — Bianca V.
"Truck-mount extraction cleared our flooded basement way faster than the shop vac approach a different company tried first." — Malik J.
A basic pump-out skips classification testing and moisture documentation that Water Extraction includes.
If caught early enough, hardwood can frequently be saved with specialty extraction rather than replacement.
Category 1 is clean water, Category 2 is gray water with some contamination, and Category 3 is sewage or blackwater requiring full PPE.
Verification reports are standard, not an optional add-on.
Extraction within the first few hours significantly improves the odds of saving flooring materials.
We issue a written extraction report formatted for insurance use, not just internal notes.
